Rust Preventives

Nigarilan rust preventive par excellence offers exceptional protection to components made out of steel, aluminium, zinc and their alloys.

Form soft-dry coatings, chemically and physically unique. They lie flat along the substrate like scales along the body of fish. The dense layer of overlapping particles provides a virtually impenetrable moisture barrier to the coated components, ensuring dense, tight coatings, and an impenetrable moisture barrier to corrosion.

Coatings 2 to 3 mils thick provide indefinite indoor protection, and from six months to one year outdoor protection; 

Coatings 5 to 6 mils thick give approximately two years of outdoor protection; 

Offer good protection for components during export shipments; 

Good for indoor and outdoor storage of treated components; 

Short term and long term storage.

Long term Rust Preventives are used to protect metals which are stored for long.

 

Our product  Endurokote is an oil-based, water-displacing corrosion preventive formulated to provide exceptional long-term protection.  This product deposits a long lasting oily film that is easily removed using an alkaline cleaner or vapor degreaser.  It will provide protection to both ferrous and non-ferrous parts for up to 12 months indoor storage.  It was developed for dip applications, particularly  if waterdisplacing properties are needed.  Spraying is acceptable when necessary. 

Both Products Securitas& Endurokote gives a non drying rust preventive coating which can be easily removed by solvents or alkali cleaners

Securitas is solvent-based water displacing corrosion preventive formulated to provide exceptional long-term indoor protection.  This product deposits a long lasting, thin residual film, which is easily removed using an alkaline cleaner. SECURITAS  will provide protection to both ferrous and non-ferrous parts for upto 6-12 months indoor storage.

Some components require a dry film rust preventives so that even when transported or while handling the components for further operations, the film will not be disturbed.   we offer champion for this purpose.

 

Champion is an effective hard-dry film temporary rust preventive fluid for application on and preservation of machined surfaces, precision screws, bolts, etc. The dried film is virtually transparent. Champion is applied cold, by brushing, dipping or by spraying. Conforms to is: 1153: 1975
