Guard Grill
{Formulation for Oven & Grill Cleaner}
Guard Grill is a heavy duty cleaner for periodic maintenance in areas of
heavy grease build-up like, ovens and grills, in food premises.
Guard Grill is a highly alkaline detergent formulation suitable for periodic cleaning of heavily soiled ovens, grills etc. This specially formulated blend of alkali, surfactants and solvents removes even heavily carbonised soil. When diluted with water, Guard Grill is also suitable for soak cleaning of fryers.
To clean Ovens / grills:
1. First make sure that the temperature of the surface to be cleaned is less than 80 deg C.
2. Spray Guard Grill directly on to the surface or equipment that is to be cleaned.
3. Leave for 5 - 30 minutes depending upon the level of soiling.
4. Remove loose deposit with a brush.
5. Rinse well with clean, hot water and allow to air dry.
To clean the Fryer
1. Drain oil and close valve
2. Fill half of it with water.
3. Add 500 ml of Guard Grill for every 10L of water . Then fill water fully.
4. Turn on fryer and bring to a controlled boil for 15-30 minutes.
5. Then cool it down and drain the contents. Scrub remaining residues from side walls and heating elements with a brush.
6. Rinse twice with clean, hot water and allow to air dry.
To clean Grill extractor:
1. Dismantle the grill extractor.
2. Immerse them in a vessel which carries hot water which is mixed with Guard Grill in the proportion of 100 ml per lt of water.
3. Allow it for 15 - 60 minutes.
4. Rinse well with clean water and allow to air dry
NOTE: DO NOT use on alkali sensitive materials such as aluminium and copper.

1. Its in liquid form.
2. Slight amber colour and clear
3. Has characteristic odour
4. Not combustible
5. Density 1.05 – 1.15
6. Completely soluble in water
7. pH will be 12
